Before an Outage
Become a Volunteer
PGnE runs entirely on community volunteers. Whether you have an hour a month or want to take on a leadership role, there is a place for you.
Volunteers We're Looking For
🔧Generator Distributor
4–8 hrs per outage event
Staff a distribution site during an outage. Help residents sign waivers, check out units, and ensure safe operation. Deliver units to priority (medical/mobility-need) households.
⚙️Maintenance Technician
2–4 hrs/year
Perform regular maintenance checks, oil changes, battery charging, and repairs on the generator fleet between outage events.
📣Workshop Trainer
1–2 sessions/year
Lead community education sessions on generator safety and emergency preparedness.
📋Site Coordinator
Ongoing + active during outages
